MAJIC is the first organization established and incorporated to represent the manufacturers and sellers of legal cannabis products in Japan.

MAJIC was founded to ethically lead and grow the Cannabis Industry in Japan. Our Japan-based members are composed of legal cannabis companies in Japan (including importers, producers, wholesalers and retailers) who are dedicated to our mission. MAJIC is also open to membership from companies residing outside of Japan who are considering to enter the market or interested in a better understanding of the sometimes complicated Japanese market. We are focused on creating standards, ensuring safety, compliance, transparency and making a positive contribution to the people and economy of Japan.

Japan is one of the few countries in the Asian region that has approved the sale of CBD and other cannabis products derived exclusively from the mature stalk or seed of the hemp plant. The market is growing rapidly for CBD infused oils, cosmetics and foods. Hemp seed and hemp protein are also becoming increasingly popular. With the growth of the cannabis market in Japan comes the need for proper self regulation and development of guidelines and policies. This will assure consistency, public trust and healthy market expansion.
